The Polish Society of Toxicology was founded in March 1978 and is the interdisciplinary scientific society which groups over 300 members associated in 11 local branches across Poland. The Polish Society of Toxicology shall solely and directly pursue objectives of public benefit within the meaning of the Law on Associations (the Act of April 7, 1989, and the Journal of Laws 2018, item 723 and the statute). The Polish Society of Toxicology is a member of the Federation of European Toxicologists and European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX) and the International Union of Toxicology (IUTOX).
